What’s Included
- Monthly PAYE payment dates — the 22nd for each tax month, with the last safe working day when it falls on a weekend or bank holiday.
- EPS dates — the 19th after each tax month.
- Quarterly payer dates — 22 July, 22 October, 22 January and 22 April.
- Year-end dates — P60s, P11D and P11D(b), Class 1A NIC, PAYE Settlement Agreements and the 19 April correction deadline.
- Calendar file (.ics) — every date as an all-day event with a reminder 3 days before.
Why It Matters
- HMRC payments must clear on time. A due date falling on a weekend usually means paying the working day before unless you use Faster Payments.
- The tax month runs from the 6th to the 5th, so payroll dates do not match calendar months and are easy to misplace.
- Year-end deadlines in July and October relate to the previous tax year and are often missed.
- Late reporting and payment can lead to HMRC penalties and interest.
